Reece Martin, Marketing Specialist - Washington Association for Community Health
When did you start at Palmer Scholars?
I was involved in Palmer Scholars my Junior Year of 2017 until I graduated from the University of Washington in 2021.
Where are you currently in your life?
Currently, I am a marketing specialist at an organization called Washington Association for Community Health. I handle all marketing efforts for a workforce program called InReach Career Pathways. I have grown in areas like Photography, website development, email marketing, and more. I am also a husband and a father!
What advice do you have for current and future scholars?
Some advice that I would give to future Palmer Scholars cohorts is to really take the time to figure out what you like and if you don’t know, explore new things. Once you have a good idea of what you like, try to use that as a guide on what you want to pursue after high school. Don’t be afraid of change during this process because you’ll probably change your mind a lot!
I would like to congratulate the Palmer Scholars class of 2024 for graduating high school and entering the next chapter of their lives. I am extremely proud of them as their former Scholar Experience Coordinator!
